Denzel Washington says he will star in ‘Black Panther 3′

Washington revealed on the “Today Show Australia” that he is starring in “Black Panther 3.”

“Ryan Coogler is writing a part for me in the next ‘Black Panther,’” he said.

Washington also shared a few other projects he will work on before retiring.

Washington was close with the late Chadwick Boseman, who played the Black Panther in several Marvel films.

Washington helped pay for Boseman‘s acting program at Oxford University in England. The two remained close until Boseman died in 2020.

Marvel has yet to announce a third “Black Panther” film officially.
