Will There Be An ‘Invincible’ Season 4? Here’s When It Could Arrive On Prime

The Invincible Season 3 finale is now streaming, and fans are already wondering if a fourth season is on the way. Luckily, there’s good news—Amazon Prime’s cricically acclaimed adult superhero series isn’t ending just yet, and the next chapter might arrive sooner than you think.

Based on the comic book by Robert Kirkman, Cory Walker, and Ryan Ottley, Invincible follows 17-year-old Mark Grayson, the son of Omni-Man, the world’s most powerful superhero. As Mark discovers his own superpowers, he soon realizes his father’s legacy isn’t what it seems. The series boasts a star-studded voice cast, including Steven Yeun, J.K. Simmons, Sandra Oh, Seth Rogen, Gillian Jacobs, Andrew Rannells, Zazie Beetz, Mark Hamill, Walton Goggins, Jason Mantzoukas, and many more.

Without revealing spoilers, the Invincible Season 3 finale is being hailed as one of the goriest episodes in the series’ history. It features an intense, nearly 30-minute showdown between Mark and Conquest, who arrives to test Mark’s readiness for the Viltrumite Empire’s takeover. The full episode is now streaming on Prime Video.

Ready to find out what’s next in the Invincible universe after that action-packed ending? Here’s everything you need to know about Invincible Season 4 and the future of the hit animated series.

Will There Be An Invincible Season 4 On Prime Video?

Yes, Invincible will return for a fourth season on Amazon Prime Video. The series was officially renewed for Season 4 on July 26, 2024, with the announcement made by the show’s creator during Prime Video’s adult animation panel at San Diego Comic-Con.

When Will Invincible Season 4 Come Out On Prime Video?

Amazon Prime Video has yet to announce a release date for Invincible Season 4. The good news is that the fourth season is already in production, meaning fans won’t have to endure the long waits between releases like in the past. (Last year, Kirkman reassured fans that they would never see a gap as long as the one between Seasons 1 and 2.)

For reference, Season 3 premiered on Feb. 6, 2025, about 10 months after the Season 2 finale. If the show follows a similar timeline, there’s a high chance Invincible Season 4 could arrive sometime in early 2026.

In a March interview with The Direct, series creator Kirkman revealed that his current focus is getting Season 4 “wrapped up.” He also expressed interest in working on specials. See his full quote below.

“There’s a lot of opportunity to do a lot of specials. There’s a lot of characters that could really shine if they get that platform to have an episode focused on them, which we’re really excited about. We’d love to do that. We’re trying to do that. I don’t know. We’ll see, but right now the focus is making sure that the show comes out as regularly as possible, and we’re trying not to have any distractions that are going to keep us from that. So right now, the focus has been getting Season 3 wrapped up, getting Season 4 wrapped up. Hopefully, once those are all tied up, we’ll have some time to figure out how to do a little bit more, but we may not. I don’t know, we’ll see,” Kirkman told The Direct in March.
